When you request a quotation, we collect the contact name, company, business email and country/region that the form requires. You may also provide a telephone number, comments, part numbers, quantities and a BOM file. We use this information to review your requirements, prepare and follow up on a quotation, and maintain a record of the request. Without the required contact and requirement details, we cannot process the quotation request.
If you request product news, we save your email address and subscription request on the website. You can withdraw that request by contacting us at info@hjpctech.com. If you use ICNforum or a site account, we process the account details and content you choose to provide to operate those features.
The site and its hosting service may process technical data such as IP addresses, browser information and cookies needed for operation and security. Some pages load fonts from a third-party font service, which receives the browser request for those fonts.
Who receives the data
Our staff handling quotations can access RFQ records. We use a website hosting provider and an email provider to operate the site and deliver sales notifications. We do not include the uploaded BOM itself in the sales notification email; authorised administrators retrieve it from the private RFQ record.
Storage and retention
RFQ records and uploaded BOMs are stored on the website’s server, with BOM downloads restricted to administrators. We keep them for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and meet ongoing business or legal needs. Administrators periodically review active website records, export those needed for ongoing business or legal purposes, and manually delete website records and BOM files that are no longer needed. Exported copies are kept only while needed for business or legal purposes; website backups follow the hosting provider’s retention cycle. We use reasonable measures to restrict access and protect this information.
Your choices and requests
You may contact info@hjpctech.com to ask about the personal data we hold, request access or correction, or withdraw a newsletter request. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.
