Legacy IPC-2221 curve fit: I = k ΔT^0.44 A^0.725, A in mil²; k = 0.048 external / 0.024 internal. DC R uses copper ρ20 = 1.7241×10⁻⁸ Ωm and α = 0.00393/°C.
Not an IPC-2152 solver. Limited to 35 A, 10.16 mm width and evaluation temperature ≤150°C. Excludes vias, neck-downs, planes, return paths, pulses and cooling interactions.
